If thoughts were flowers, I'd send you roses

If thoughts were flowers, I'd send you roses
If kisses were raindrops, I'd send you showers
If hugs were seconds, I'd send you hours
If smiles were water, I'd send you the sea
If love was a person, I'd send you me.

I NEED YOUR LOVE

Like thunder needs rain
Like the preacher needs pain
Like tongues of flames
Like a blindman's cane
Like a needle in the vain
Like someone to blame
Like a thought unchained
Like a runaway train
I NEED YOUR LOVE

DREAM
You will be gone
Like the wind and its blowing,
Love cannot go with you
Where you are going.
Love fits his steps
To the man in the street;
You ask the wings of the world
For his feet.
Love is the width
Of a house and a bed;
Why must the sky alone
Cover your head?
Yet who can say
Which is wisest or best,
The dream in the heart,
Or the dream possessed?

I do love you
